Muscat, Oman, 11 December 2007 – A large number of women and their families have been making their way to the Oman International Exhibition Centre over the past three days to visit Women Expo 2007, an international exhibition of women’s products and services which is ongoing until December 14.

“The response of visitors has been very good since the formal opening of the exhibition on Sunday,” said C.J. Paul, general manager of Omanexpo LLC, the leading exhibition management company in the sultanate. “Women have fully appreciated the holding of a show that is intended especially to cater to all their needs and interests.”

Paul pointed out that Women Expo 2007 features over 60 companies and organisations showcasing products and services from the following six major categories: health and beauty, career and education, fashion and lifestyle, food and kitchen, home improvement, and child care and development. He explained that all these cover everything important in the lives of women, making the annual Women Expo an event that women can truly call their own.

Admission to Women Expo is for ladies and families only. The exhibition timings are from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and then from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. On Friday, December 14, which is the final day of Women Expo 2007, the exhibition will be open only in the evening. All female visitors get a chance to win exciting prizes in the raffle draw by simply going to the exhibition.

Women Expo 2007 is officially supported by the Ministry of Health (MOH), the Thai Spa Association, and Hong Kong Jewellery and Jade Manufacturers Association. The co-sponsors are Kaya Skin Clinic, Oman Tourism College, Damas, Jotun Paints, Parachute, Pediasure, and Tapal Tea. The media partners of the event are Al Mar’a, Usrat Al Youm, Al Hasnaa, Oman Tribune and Al Watan as well as the Times of Oman and Al Shabiba. Women Expo 2007 opens today

Muscat, Oman, 9 December 2007 – Her Excellency Shokour Bint Mohammed Bin Salim Al Ghammari, Member of the State Council, will preside over the formal inauguration today of Women Expo 2007 at the Oman International Exhibition Centre in Seeb.

The six-day exhibition, which will run until December 14, will showcase a wide range of products and services that are specifically designed for women. Except on Friday when the exhibition will be open only in the evening, the regular exhibition timings are from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and then from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Admission to Women Expo 2007 is for ladies and families only.

Today’s inauguration ceremony will be attended by diplomats, top officials of participating companies, members of women’s organisations, and other distinguished guests. After cutting the ceremonial ribbon, the chief guest together with all the other visitors will then tour the exhibition to meet all exhibitors and check out the products displayed in all the stalls.

Women Expo 2007 to reflect women empowerment in Oman

Muscat, Oman, 26 November 2007 – With its focus on everything important to women, Women Expo 2007 will truly be a showcase of women empowerment in the sultanate when the exhibition formally opens on December 9-14 at the Oman International Exhibition Centre in Seeb.

The six-day exhibition, which is being organized by Omanexpo LLC, will feature a wide range of products and services covering all that matters to women – from their looks and careers to their health, homes and families. Women Expo 2007 set in December

Muscat, Oman, March 7, 2007 – In line with the annual celebration of International Women's Day (IWD) on March 8, Omanexpo LLC has announced that it will continue to promote women empowerment in the sultanate by organising Women Expo 2007 at the Oman International Exhibition Centre on December 9 - 14 this year.
