New general manager joins Omanexpo

Muscat, Oman, 24 January 2010 – Nasser Diab has recently been appointed as the new general manager of Omanexpo, the pioneer exhibition management company in Oman and the leading organiser of professional trade shows in the sultanate.

A Jordanian national, Diab has moved to Oman from Dubai, where he previously served as the Director-Middle East of THE EXPO HUT, a Canada-based exhibition and marketing solutions company that had been involved in many of the major exhibitions in the region.

Diab brings with him over 17 years of experience in event management and marketing, new business development, corporate branding, and project management. An active member of the International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE) since 2002, he was directly involved in the events industry in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Lebanon, Qatar, Bahrain and the U.S.

Diab is now with busy with preparations for the upcoming Omanexpo Fair, which will be held in early February, the 7th edition of Interiors & Buildex in March, and the 7th Oil & Gas West Asia (OGWA) Exhibition and Conference in April this year. Under his guidance, the company will soon be introducing a range of new events that will further enhance Omanexpo’s reputation as a premier event management company.
